Despite the recent dot-com busts, Americans remain enthusiastic about the Internet. The vast majority of those who go online feel positive about the Internet. Yet, the public has deep concerns about Internet content, in particular as it relates to children. Privacy is common worry among Americans as well. Therefore, a majority of Americans would like to see further regulation of the Internet, not only by the government, but also by independent non-profit agencies.
